California Junior Golf Tour

The CJG Tour provides monthly multi-day junior golf events at some of Southern California's finest venues.  CJG's events are affordable, convenient, and operated with plenty of staff to deliver the best possible tournament experience for our members.  It is specifically designed for juniors looking to build a strong playing resume for college golf and to develop their competitive golf skills.  The CJG Tour is nationally ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard and Global Junior Golf.    

 

Age Divisions:

Championship Boys - ages 14+ highest level competition - 6500+ yards

Championship Girls - ages 13+ highest level competition - 5600-6200 yards

Boys 12-14 - intermediate distances - 5800-6200 yards

NexGen Boys - ages 10-11 - 4800-5200 yards

NexGen Girls - ages 10-12 - 4400-5000 yards

CJG "Good Starts Happen" Mini-Tour

The Mini-Tour provides monthly entry level 9-hole events for younger and more novice junior golfers.    The Mini-Tour is a collaboration with South Bay area junior golf leader, Josh Alpert, PGA and his "Good Swings Happen" Jr Golf Academy.  The mission of the mini-tour is to provide well-organized events for juniors to help them learn "the ropes" of junior tournament golf in a non-intimidating environment.  All events are played at Par-3 or Executive length courses or at shortened yardages on regulation courses.  Events are played at various venues in the West LA/South Bay and San Fernando Valley areas.
