Founded in 2018, California Junior Golf is a new collaboration between two of Southern California’s Junior Golf Industry Leaders – Dan Martin and John Ray Leary.  Dan and John have collective teaching, coaching, and tournament operation experience of over 37 years.  California Junior Golf was established for these main purposes:

• To meet the demand for HIGH-QUALITY, WELL- OPERATED, multi-day ranked junior golf events in the Los Angeles Area for juniors looking to build a strong playing resume for college and to develop their competitive golf skills.  The CJG Tour features Junior Golf Scoreboard Ranked events for Advanced, Pre-Elite, and Elite players at awesome venues throughout the Greater LA Area.  Click HERE to visit the CJG Tour Website

• To provide team-based coaching for Advanced and Elite juniors that goes well beyond the traditional one-on-one lesson.  There is so much more to develop besides technique to become a successful competitive player.  The CJG Competitive Player Program helps its students develop mental, emotional, physical, and social skills necessary to function at one’s best in competitive play.  CPP members learn to be great players of the game through fun and innovative team practices, on course playing experiences, and competitions.  The CPP Program is offered at Rustic Canyon Golf Course and Angeles National Golf Course.  Click Here for More Info.

CJG also offers developmental programs for new and beginning players:

• The "Good Starts Happen" Mini-Tour offers entry level 9-hole tournament experiences for younger and less experienced players in the San Fernando Valley and in the West LA/South Bay Areas.  

• The CJG Developmental Player Program features a year-round curriculum for new and beginning players at our Encino/Balboa Golf Course location.
